For this project, Wildish constructed a new four-story 128,000 sq ft building with a basement comprised of cast-in-place concrete and structural steel with brick veneer exterior. The massive, floor-to-ceiling central atrium is topped by the building's roof system, which is comprised of concrete and a steel structure with tern metal roof covering. The new building provides offices, laboratories and classrooms for physics, chemical physics, biophysics, theoretical science and materials science.
